Mods if this is in the wrong section please move.

Now to my post, I need help from the veteran bloggers in our community!

I am going to devlop a blog when I get some money back in my paypal account but I have a few questions...

What is the best CHEAP blog host?
What are the most profitable niches? (I'm thinking an econ blog)
What are the best types of consistent money makers? (I.E. places to sell ad space and links or others preferably not ppc but maybe cpm or others)
Anything else I should know?

P.S. I am going to buy unique content and I am doing this purely as a revenue source/resale investment and I just want It to pay its expences and make a little ($xx) a month.

Budget preferably low $xxx

Best blog setup is to get a hosting of your and install wordpress on it.

Themes can be found on internet or you can get one specially designed for your blog.

About niches I am not so sure so will skip that one.

Best places to sell ads and all. Is NP and forums like NP.

If you are going to get the content written and all and your investment is Low $xxx then it will just get you 10 to 15 articles done which is not enough to get your investment out atleast for a year.

Thanks.

Nothing is cheaper than free. So go for blogspot. They support adsense. So you can earn from the content. And you need not pay anything.

But for reselling it, you might better look at your own hosting service and your software.

I'm using hosting from hostpc.com. I host around 10 websites over there on a 10GB plan. Its cheap and worth the money. And their speed is also decent.

One suggestion is to use wordpress for your blogs because it increases your chances of reselling it. You can find many buyers who are not so tech savvy but are comfirtable with wordpress. And many hosts provide one touch installs for wordpress.

And when looking for a host, don't get fooled by bandwidth and storage space gimmiks. You won't need much storage space and they are anyways not going to give you all the bandwidths that they advertise.

good luck in your endeavour.
