I know the webhosting market is over saturated with resellers and hosting companys. But I have a reseller account and want to get just a few customers to pay the hosting bills, not looking to make a bunch of money.
What do you guys suggest is the best form of quick and inxpensive marketing that genetates the best results?

Also has anyone had any luck with www.webhostingleads.com ?

Any help is appreicated!

Thanks,
-Ryan

Well I am a new Reseller as well selling some small hosting packages, I think your best bet may be just to advertise on sites like WebHostingTalk,Namepros etc
Also if you have a community on your site maybe ask around there or ask friends and family.
Good Luck

Good suggestions so far.

Another way is to differentiate yourself from the rest. What makes your company look better than the next guy?

You will want to spend the most time on www.webhostingtalk.com as it is one if not the most popular web hosting forum. Like veolus said just reply to any threads that are requesting hosting but I would suggest that you contact the person by pm, email, or instant messenger becuase it shows that you care.

If your really desperate, try to offer to beat the other offers put forward by the other members who are interested in hosting that member that is requesting webhosting.

Yeah true try using a price penetration plan. Start off with a low price then once you have some customers raise the price for new ones. And veolus check your pms now. I want those ebooks lol.

Don't get involved in price wars - IMHO it's just about the worst thing that you can do. Pretty soon you'll find yourself offering packages that you make next to nothing off of and guess what clients are first in line to complain or cost valuable support time?

Also, be careful where and how you approach people. On forums such as WHT it is against forum rules to approach anyone and offer them a package these days. If you message the wrong person then you're looking at the loss of a valuable resource because you'll end up with a nice "Account Disabled", "Banned", etc tag under your name.
