Berserk Anime is not only a cool name, but the name of an anime series - making this a nice general-use anime domain name, with potential for specific targeting. This forum was created as a general anime and non-anime discussion board roughly one year ago. We currently have over 245 members and over 22,000 posts. The site has maintained a PR4 for several months.

At its peak, I was using PPC advertising and a couple links and profiting about $50/month with google adsense, donations and a banner ad. The right buyer, needless to say, will know a bit about marketing to really unlock the potential on this site. If someone can really commit time to this site, you can expect significant revenue from Google, banners, donations, and ads. If I had the time to really work on this site, I have no doubts I'd be making a couple hundred dollars extra per month profit.

I am willing to continue administrative duties temporarily if you aren't interested in the personal work on the forum - but the buyer is responsible for any coding, backups, and expenses (and of course 100% of the profit is yours as owner).

Hi ! Sorry for posting irrelevant stuff. But looks like your site was hacked by some bot or some script kiddie who had blindly searched for some perticular phpBB version and used lame exploit.

But as I can see, your member's list is still intact - http://www.berserkanime.com/forums/memberlist.php . Also, it shows correct number of posts it seems. First thing you can do is to password protect the site/directory and take the backup of Forum database. If you lost all posts, you can probably request your hosting company for the backup.

Indeed - that's quite the blow. Do you have access to the backups (both of static PHP files as well as the MySQL data)... you should be able to restore!

It's definitely been hacked - not sold yet.
I don't have the backup files and I'm just hoping now that my hosting company can restore it. I'll update as soon as I know the fate of the site.

Riff...Im expert in PhpBB, if you need help, PM me, maybe i can try to restore your things...i just do it with my forum that was hacked to...all come from the PHPBB is not update..you have to update to the last version.

If you need help i can tray to restore, and you can take again (maybe with all, maybe not) your forum again, and sell it.

Please everybody update yours PHPBB to the last version 2.13, and anybody will be hacked!!!!!!

Well it looks like the forums are there but posts and members weren't restored. The help was appreciated anyway.

The forum, without any announcements, already has 14 members that have signed up again, some are even new members. It's a great time for a new administrator to get this forum back up and running. I have a database that contains all of the old members and posts, so the buyer will have the option of figuring out how to restore that database in working order (keeping in mind that it is hacked and must be edited).

The BIN price is still $300, but I will consider offers.
