What do you do with rejected domains?
There are lots of options. Submit them to other brandable marketplaces. Sell them at cost on NP. List them at GD premium/Afternic/Sedo. And/or let them expire.
Do you recommend any particular marketplace for rejected domains?
Nope. Every market place has it's pros and cons. I'd prefer the one with the most traffic if you can find that info. Put them any where you can find a home for them. If they are not listed at a marketplace
like BB/BR/BP etc then make sure you have an Efty landing page and a BIN. Or list them on GD premium and forward the domain to the GD premium page. This way any type in will have a BIN button for an impulse purchase by credit card.

I've sold hundreds of them wholesale but only a small percentage of them to end users.
Do you renew any rejected domains?
If a domain is rejected at more than one brandable marketplace that's a pretty good indication it's likely not worth renewing. But there are always exceptions, depends on the name, how much I paid, and why it was rejected. Sometimes BB will reject good names because they are not a good fit for their marketplace. For example generic names, adults names, canna names and niche market domains.
But even the ones I do renew I give them a hard look after 2-3 years and delete some of them. I'm talking about domains I hand regged or bought in the expired auctions for under $30.
In general we domainers tend to overvalue the domains we own because we lose our objectivity. Ask a few successful domainers to look at your holdings and get a second opinion. Sometimes I send a list of brandables to a respected fellow domainer and ask "which of these domains would you renew?" Renewals are the biggest drag on profits and can even cause losses.
Keep in mind that BrandBucket allows sellers to submit domains they do not own. I believe that BrandBucket is the only marketplace that allows this.
These days I only buy domains that I am happy to sell on my own even if BB rejects them. If I'm unsure, then I submit to BB first and only purchase that domain after it's accepted. This eliminates all the 'rejected domain' issues.
