Battlefield Stats

Anybody know how set up a small site to query stats for BF2 or BF2142? I own a stats name and traffic is ramping up to it. If it's easy enough to throw up a site, I might do that - otherwise, I'll just sell the name.

If you mean this section of the page

"Get Stats
Get your Battlefield 2 ranked stats by entering your PID number here. Don't know your PID? Just type your nick in and I'll find you as best I can.
"

then it was put your username in there click search.

If the above is correct you can do it by searching your database and returning it.

how do you get a database of stats? Or do i somehow query EA's database? As you can tell, i know nothing about this kind of thing. I just hate having uniques go to waste!

Thats the big problem.. If its not your database most likely you wont be able to do it

you would have to find out what the database prefexes are.

This means that you either have to
(1) Hack it
-unethical
-very hard
(2) Buy access from EA
-$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ required
-unlikely that they will be interested

Right. Who knows, could always interest somebody wanting totout their own stats.

Back tp this old thread. Traffic is really picking up as the game has just released. I was visiting gameslave.co.uk and they say they are "Retrieving your player records from the gamespy stats servers on request."

So - any ideas how to do that? Or do I need to pony up and pay someone to program it for me?

There is one script I have tried using in the past. You don't need approval from EA really, as long as you don't do aynthing illegal. However, for 2142, they haven't given access to anyone yet, I'm sure.

Great. Any further info you can give me? How does one go about accessing the Gamespy server?
