Banner on forum?

ok i made a banner with motion artist in flash, but i can figure out how to place it on my forum, how do you do that?

thats the thing, i know how to put it on the forum, but my question is where can i host it so i can put it on my forum, i put it here www.mysite.com/banner but then i cant post in on my site i just get that X that means the pic isnt working.

what kinda file should i make it? and i have a ipb if that helps to

Your link isn't working. Just to get this straight though, you have a site with IPB forum on it and want to add a header to it. You have to header on the site and don't know how to link it right? Sorta confused on what you are askin here. Thanks.

the link i put the banner to works when you put it in the address bar, but when i try to but it on my site it doesnt work, im guessing cuz its flash or something.

now what kinda file show it be, the banner or how would i do this?

i think i have a clue what he is asking.

well replace it with the logo image for that specific template on ipb

host it where the other template files are hosted.'

you might be getting an x because the link for the pic is not working

ok im guessing this is it, cuz it not a jpg or gif file it wont work? how do i convert it to one of those files?

much better if you upload your banner on the /images directory of your forum

have you tried using the relative path to your banner?

can you please pm us the url of your forum for us to have a look.

Remember that you cannot link a flash banner with the <img> tag, you need to use the <embed> one.

It would be helpful if you told us what forum software you're running. Are you able to get access to the forum's actaul files or are you using a free forum host?

He's using IPB. I guess he could also mean invision free though :td:
