Hey this just went up a few days ago, One of the cheapest banner sites on the net,what do you think guys?

the name is worth around $10 IMO, but it really depends on how many customers you have, and how many visitors you get daily.

Nice looking website you have! However, I am not loving your domain. My first reaction was that the site was going to be some kind of site about people who were banned from somewhere, but it took me awhile to get the connection of ban -> banner. I think it would be better if your domain included banner in it somewhere. For a price, I would say low -> mid $xx , but if you get some more traffic, that will rise drastically.

Thanks guys!I guess some people didnt see it was already developed,someone mentioned that i should and the word "banner", did you mean get a new domain name with banner in it or just have banner written boldly on the website?

I agree. "ban" is not at all an abbreviation used for the word "banner", at least I have never seen anyone use it that way.

So the domain itself seems very unrelated to it's content. However, it does sound nice and it's short.

Also, the site design is very good looking.

Given all this, I think to maximize your profit a this point in time, you would need to sell it on eBay to a newbie/wannabe webmaster.

I order to avoid this, I would change your domain name and site name, get more traffic and business, and then you will not have to stoop to selling sites way over their worth to newbies/wanabes on eBay.

As it stands, I think you could "legitimately" sell this site/domain for $low XXX tops. But I would develop it further if i were you and get more traffic/customers so as to increase it's value. Then sell it!

It really does not matter if it is developed as much as it matter how much traffic you get and the quatlity of the traffic. Anyone can put up a site with content just to say it is "developed".

Well, that's really up to you if you want a new domain. Put it this way, I don't think you are going to get a lot of type in traffic from people looking for banners with the abbreviation ban. However, if you are going to try to get most of your traffic through the search engines, then it is probably ok. I looked quick for a replacement domain, but was unsuccessful. Good luck!

wow thanks for all the input,i came up with an idea what if we owned a bunch of good banner domains and redirected them to banboy.com?what that be any better?at the moment theres about 15 visitors a day,we had an order for 100 banners yesterday, and since the website which or banners or placed on have to have a link back to us, i reckon we are counting on traffic that way,not type in traffic..lol so ebay is the place to get high prices??

i'd say mid $xx as is, but with much more development, it could bring in much more money.

The banner name idea could work, but wait a bit before you do that.

No, I wuld definitely not recommend selling the domain on eBay.
