this is a nice one ... called the Pacman illusion

stare at the cross in the center and you will see ...

first ... a circle of purple dots , one dot disappears clockwise
then ... a circle of purple dots , one dot appears green
then ... the green dot eats the purple ones
finally ... only the green dot remains , going around
