Avatar needed for PC101.com - $25

Howdy!

I need a snappy new avatar for PC101.com

I don't have any specific ideas in mind and it doesn't have to have the colors of the site. I'd like something kinda bright and shiny and eye catching.

Please provide the final product in the following sizes... 100 x 100, 80 X 80, and 70 X 70.

Wherez, fattened... not flattened

vivsin, the font is kewl and but I'm not keen on that color. It's a little too bright.

statd, I think the background on each distracts me from the name. I like both versions except for the background.

krishm, nice entry! I wasn't thinkin about having the avatar match my site but now that I see it... it's kinda kewl. The one thing I'd like to see is maybe one with just one part flashing. Like... maybe just the frame... or just the pc101.com at the bottom... or maybe just the "Class is now..." And... how is it going to look reduced down to 70 x 70??

Gene, way cute! That was a nice change o' pace and I like how you go down a different road! :tu: The one suggesting I'd make is maybe putting the ".com" on the eraser! Possible? That way we can get rid of the pc101.com below it. I think the chalk board by itself is way kewl!

p.s. And is there some way we can make the text "pop" a lil more... as they on all those design shows?! At the smaller size it gets a lil fuzzy.

95 designs, very cool! I like how you've taken the text in computer theme and ran with it! There's a lil bit too much flash for my peepers though. I'd suggest just having the PC101 change colors and loose the other flashiness.

Also, if we're going to follow that idea (text in computer) then let's make it even more in keeping with the site itself and have a greyish computer (not white).

Again, really awesome additions to the contest! :tu: Keep it up!

sergio, re: post 25. I'd like to see it more completed. So, spicing it up now would be the time.

statd, looks good! The solid black (pc101.com) on the solid white background is a little distracting from the other part though. It's a little too contrasting from the upper PC and 101.

95 designs, I like how you have it now (flashing gold/white and white), particularly if you go with a darker (grayish) computer. Now, if you wanted to do one with the site colors (blue/black), I'd not object!

- Computer is darker grey
- PC101 font is light blue (matches the PC101.com forums)
- Added "Join Today" and "Its Free!!"
- The screen shot on the computer desktop is your website, I incorporated that into the monitor if you didnt notice. :tu:
