My client is a traffic attorney. For those of you guys that do not know what that is, its a guy that gets you out of your traffic tickets that are issued for speeding, DUI, or whatever.

He is in Seattle, Washington. So study Seattle, and come up with something that compasses the city and traffic, and law, and maybe the name which is "Jon Zimmerman, Attorney at Law".

Contest will run 7 days. Contest will pay $150.00 US to the winner. Winner will also have the option of doing the website as well.

Please put all designs here. Due to scamming, please watermark your design.

You guys, for me this is really, really good. But attorneys are HARD to please. So this is why I am posting my clients comments here, because the winner, and maybe the runner up, will have plenty of work from me because I have allot of clients and they are ALL attorneys.

Here is my clients comments:

Good morning, Phil,

#17 - Waardii - getting better with each attempt - a few observations though: 1. Other than the cars/lights, people might think crimes. I don't know that people are making the connection between a lawyer and speeding/traffic tickets. A visual that shows the connection and text that says 'Traffic Ticket Defense' could probably achieve that goal.

2. I like Waardii's original reflection of the skyline (but not my name reflected) b/c the State of Washington is full of areas with bodies of water and building reflections can often be observed by those near the water. That was a really great idea for the particular location in which I practice law and in which I live. Also, here's another rendering of Mount Rainier - File:2007 WA Proof.png - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

#18 - will7 - I know will7 is trying but all I see is a car, a lawyer, and Seattle. How is a consumer - a nonlawyer - going to know that I can get people out of traffic tickets.

#19 - J-Man - I'm sure he can do better work. This logo's colors and design are plain ugly, but at least he gets a visual sign about a traffic light in there. That's about the only good thing in this one.

#20 - kesari18 - totally ignores the instructions for this contest.

GENERAL COMMENTS - I practice law in an area that can best be termed traffic law. What that means is an area of law where people violate a section of the motor vehicle code while driving, a cop pulls them over, and issues them tickets. These tickets are a total annoyance for the people who receive them, and tickets can suspend someone from driving and tickets are very expensive for insurance purposes. Some people lose their jobs because of too many tickets. In the United States, drivers and businesses have to carry insurance, which is expensive and very expensive when drivers have tickets on their records. A traffic attorney attempts to get tickets dismissed or changed to something that will not affect insurance or a driver's privilege to drive.

Common types of tickets that cops issue are for speeding, rolling through a stop sign, failing to yield the right of way, not signaling one's intent to change lanes, talking on a cell phone while driving, and on and on and on. There are about 100 such driving offenses in the State of Washington. When someone gets pulled over by a police officer, the officer's car is almost always behind the driver, and so someone is looking in their rear view mirror at a cop car with flashing lights and sometimes the driver is hearing a siren. No one has incorporated the scared/puzzled look on a driver's face, the rear view mirror, a police officer, and a ticket. These are ideas, but the average driver is thinking 'uh oh, I'm in trouble.' This is not an uncommon picture on the roadside - http://onemansblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/03/CopIssuingTicket.jpg

Here's one from a real Seattle police officer, and he gives lots of tickets - Where are the speed traps in Seattle?

While two people were close to the signage idea with traffic lights, I am surprised no one incorporated road signage, like a speed sign, stop sign, or yield sign. It doesn't have to be those but these are ideas. Here are some ideas of signs used on roads in cities and states in the U.S. - Manual of Traffic Signs

and Road Signs & Traffic Light Vector | FRESHFREESTUFF.NET

I hope this gives everyone a better idea of what this area is about and some of the common images people see.

Hey, thanks very much for the feedback. I have produced some more work in which i tried to incorporate what you wanted. The picture of Mount Rainier you sent me, i wasn't sure if you wanted me to put that in the logo? As although it is in the public domain, to use it i believe you still have to attribute it to the original artist. Hope these are progressing on further towards what you are looking for.
Thanks

More:

Yeah, I guess we attys are picky, but this Waardii guy 'gets it.' I think he's there.

#22 - Waardii - This a near-excellent design. Waardii understands the elements I'm asking for. Stop signs have 8 sides in the U.S., not 6. Other than text cleanup, (no . after 'Jon'); defence ==> defense (and no . afterward). Text should read 'Attorney at Law - Traffic Ticket Defense'

With regards to attribution, the U.S. Mint owns the image from the state quarter, though it was designed by a Washington artist. The image wasn't meant to be an exact replica for purposes of this contest - there are thousands of images of Mount Rainier on the internet. This was one particular image I liked, but there are others and a graphic of a national landmark can be original if you alter it slightly.
