I believe that investors currently rushing to register .si domain names will ultimately end up stuck with them. The current state of the domain market is clearly one where the seller side outweighs the buyer side. I would not advise newcomers to enter this field—unless, that is, you are prepared to invest a significant amount of time and money, and are also willing to accept the possibility that it could all go down the drain.
