Why did you default on your Namejet bids after bidding a name up to a HIGH amount? Bidder: Alesia7.

I hope they ban your account, and I think Namepros members should be warned about you too.

Thanks for your honesty.

I really wish I was able to transfer the funds in time for this fantastic LLLL.net.

I have been in contact with NAMEJET over the phone this afternoon as I finally have the funds necessary for the wiring; but I was just 2 hours too late! I am sorry for all inconveniance caused due to this missed payment. As a compensation, I am prepared to pay you small NP$ as a small token of my apologies. I hope you understand. Please retain the fact that this will not happen again.

It's in public auction at the moment, less than the amount of your previous bid. Are you able to bid again? There are too many people defaulting at these auctions and their accounts need to be terminated or suspended for a period of time. Fake bidders should not be allowed to run up the bid prices and then bow out without repercussion, while the other bidders all have to remain locked in at their highest bids.

If they're going to take this route, they need to start bidding over again at the base price for everyone. The current method is fraudulent in my opinion.

I agree 100% with you. They should be stopped, fined more than the usual $10 fee and have their accounts terminated for life in my opinion. They mess up the system and leave others to clear up their mess, showing no repect to fellow domainers.

Unfortunately, I can no longer bid for this name. It is part of NAMEJET's rules and their final punishment. Ashame, as this name represents very big potential to any dynamic and developer.

Update concerning: Ares.net

If you remember, it was at expiry auction at NJ about a month ago; it was snapped up for $4,300 - I was not able to transfer the funds in time. But I quicky got it back from it's new owner last week: $6,900

I just sold the domain for $21,500

Always encouraging to share positive experiences amongst fellow domainers.

If you say so.

The 1st sale in private auction at Namejet was $4300.
The 2nd sale in public auction at Namejet was $4300.

The new owner that time was Conquer Next, from Las Vegas.

I inquired through Sedo at the price by making an offer. He wanted $25,000 for it. I doubled my offer and he only came down to $24,500. I'm surprised he accepted only $6,900. I watched it end without much interest from anyone else and by that point I wasn't interested in it myself either. I didn't trust the process and the participants.

When will the whois update so we can see who paid $21,500 for it?

I made several offers (under $6,000) via Sedo and he came down to $14,000. I then made a last offer of $6,900 and he sent to auction. Auction ended at 5am US time.

Whois should be updated by 15:00pm this afternoon.

I just made another reasonable sale:

Brought 'Amatrice.com' a month ago in expiring auction for $3'800.

Just sold the domain for $16,500 via Sedo (€10,000)
