I hate that companies charge high dollar for appraisals.
I think a good percentage of a DNs value is either in the eye of the beholder or just luck and to truley appraise the final sell price of that DN is almost like fortune telling.
If youve been had by an appraisal or sold the DN for either way more or less, let us know.
I want to see an appraisal company that will back up the quoted sell price with a garauntee.
If the DN does not sell for the appraised price, while listed on the appraisers site and/or elswhere within 1 year they should offer to buy the DN for low bottom dollar appraised. Or 50% or something.
TDNAM for instance. If they say its worth 150-300 and you list it for a year with them and the DN doesnt sell, they should buy it from you for 150 or 75 or something. A GUARANTEE! They have the ability to hold the DN and try to sell it on their site for the remainder of the registration,............ featured and all
They could even throw in a clause that says the DN being appraised must be reg'd for at least 2 years or something.
Any thoughts.... Anyone else hate that appraisals cost so much or are even performed for a fee.
P.S.
I've never paid for an appraisal... anywhere.
