The internet is evolving. A mass consolidation is happening as many who would have once been candidates for websites are now using other existing networks to establish their online presence.
In addition, we have moved from a time and place (1995) where virtually no one had a website to a place (2010) where everyone that wanted a website had one. This means that domain demand is drying up. Couple that with the introduction of new TLDs and you have massive dilution of an apocalyptic magnitude.
Now we are moving into a phase where the holdouts are letting their good .COMs drop which will mean an ever increasing volume of availability. This will cause more drops and thus even more availability.
The explanation stated in your post is a common one and underscores my points. I recommend deleting this domain from your account and any other domains that are not producing revenue, or that have not had offers within 2 years, or that you don't plan on developing. I believe this advice would be helpful to a large number of domainer/speculators.
Best of luck and well wishes. IMHO
