Anyone Sold Anything at TDNAM?

I just signed up for it today. I had been thinking about it for a while but its only $5 so who cares.
Anyway I notice that there's a TON of auctions that have 0 bids. Has anyone had any luck selling there?

Also, Godaddy seems pretty crazy in the way of domain appraisals. I mean, giftsbytonight.com was appraised by them for $332.00 - $963.00. IMO thats a pretty sucky name :td:

Who knows, maybe I'm the crazy one.. :o

So far I haven't sold anything on TDNAM, I did get lots of lowball offers though. Maybe I'll have more luck in the future. :)

I'm guessing the reason a lot of them dont sell is they want so much for the name.

Like there's someone that wants $5,000 for ledguys.com

If your name doesn't sell can you try selling it again or is that it?

I've sold a number of names there. Nothing high dollar but made for some nice nights out on the town. :)

since afternic has moved its entry price to $25, tdnam might become the reseller of choice after sedo. Above comments are right, you can sell if not overpriced.

not really...

When you buy or sell @ sedo, the staff there handle it very professionally. Even if the buyer/seller is unfamiliar with domains, the staff will deal with the transfer.

TDNAM is the opposite -- they leave you alone to deal with the seller.

For a 7 day auction on TDNAM, do you basically just get all the bids at the end of the auction because thats when people see it on the main page?

Did you do a 7 day auction or just a regular sell thing with the buy it now option?

Currently I have 4 domains selling there in auctions. They are all priced pretty low so hopefully they'll get some bids.

It was a regular listing. The odd thing is that I had it set for offer/counter offer with buy it now and the buyer just decided to use the buy it now. I too am guilty of over pricing my domains I have there, but figured so are 95% of all other listings so why not. It has not prevented me from recieving "low ball" offers. For example, I had one listed for $10,000 and recieved an offer for $324. I should have taken it but got greedy. :'( I think the action can only improve at TDNAM :imho:

Have four listed and just sold one today @ $50.00

I've seen alot of names w/o bids, so I was pretty happy to unload one @ $50.00. There are some really stupid price points (IMO), so I'm not real clear why they are listed. If you price it too high, you're not going to get any bids...

"We are pleased to inform you that The Domain Name Aftermarket is in receipt of the proceeds from the sale of the following domain name:" :yell:

"You are now authorized to accept the transfer request of ********.com from *************." :tu:

"You will receive the net proceeds from the sale of this domain name in approximately 30 days." D-: :'(
