Anyone know Transip ???

I've never heard of Transip. I'm looking to buy some names reg'd there. Wondering if anyone uses them and any reason to avoid them.

I use them, but I believe they only accept dutch customers.
Transfering domains out of Transip was never a problem for me.

It appears you need a dutch bank account to open an account with them. Just got this reply back from them:

"We require that we can use automatic incasso from the bank accounts of our
customers. Unfortunatly we can only do this from dutch bank accounts.
If you have a dutch bank account then there will be no problem.
