probably one should be thinking:

why acquire a domain if you're not going to put it to use?


if you do nothing, it's just an expense because it's not earning back the roi


though it can be seen as an asset in a portfolio, when the earnings of that portfolio can absorb the cost of that acquisition.

when the portfolio cannot cover that expense, then another "asset or combo of assets" within the portfolio, must be liquidated.

in that situation, one has to sell at "bargain" pricing and will loose any "leverage" they would have with a sustainable portfolio.


so if you're not parking, what will you do?

you may say, well..."i'll develop it"

but until that happens....
