I'm wondering if anyone can give me some pointers regarding my adsense on www.sensiblefuel.com - keep in mind I'm working on the content through the end of the week and so it's not complete by any means yet. I am likely going to switch to Yahoo Premium feed through a different ad company but I'm using my Adsense account to get the placement of my ads down.

Any feedback at all would be greatly appreciated!

:)

the ads are prevalent, better work fast on the content. all i can see mostly my eyes focused on it are the amazon ads.

Yeah. I'm in the process of putting up my articles. I'm just trying to get the ad placement down so that I can figure out the format for working in my content/ads..

That page has about 1/5 of a full article up, I'm not sure how far down in an article I should put my ads in - if it should be pretty far down so it doesn't come close to the side ads and so that there is beefy content for people to read before they come across another ad? Or... if I should avoid putting ads in the middle of an article?

the content more is good,
for the ads, less is more.

What about in the middle of an article? I'm trying to think about the articles I've read with ads in the middle and I keep remembering getting annoyed that I have to break in the middle of reading to skip ads... I'm thinking I shouldn't incorporate ads into the articles at all? And just keep them off to the side?

Use a heat map and see where most of your visitors prefer to click or places which take their attention.

I think you better remove your adsense ads first as they don't allow to put in under construction site.

Nah, it's not an "under construction" site - it's got the content, just not all of it since it's a blog and it's going to always be getting more blogs. If they term me, oh well, I'm not using them anymore anyway so I really am not worried about it. But there is enough content up there already as far as I'm concerned. Never had an issue with them before with blogs like that.

You know what I think? I think it's funny the way you have no input for the actual question which was the placement of my ads - in the article, not in the article, opinions? And you just say, "take em down!" wtf?

Sorry to be annoyed but it's really annoying when people have absolutely nothing to say regarding the actual question that is posted and just jump in with irrelevant "suggestions" like that...
