What is the minimum monthly traffic to make a standard $8.99 or a little less self-registered parked .com domain break even after say 6 months?

Any experiences of this?

I ask because on GoDaddy TDNAM auctions I occassionally see $5 (+$8.99) buy nows with estimated 100-120 per month traffic flow. I assume people do not buy these because they cannot sustain profitability on these, or even break even?

It depends on the keyword you use that is related to the domain, if it is high paying keyword its good, but also CTR (click through rate) has to be at least a few percentage to get profit. You cannot do much with traffic with 0% CTR.. Also if its a low paying keyword you might have problems. You have to consider all these when buying a traffic name.
