Just a quick question.

You know when you reg a name and you have a grace period where you cant transfer ownership, is it 90 days or something? Anyway my question is.... If you reg a name at eNom can you push to another account within that grace period?

I don't think so. You can't do that with Enom. As far as I remember there were people here complaining about this policy. Just do a search here in Namepos and you'll find the answer... or perhaps someone who uses Enom a lot can give you a more straightforward answer!

I'm pretty sure you lose control of the domain until you pay to renew it. I'd also assume it's the same for all registrars too.

Most registrars do not allow inter-registrar transfers within 60 days of initial registration. However, you can still transfer it to another account of the same registrar (eNom -> eNom in your case).

Ohh you mean the other grace period. This is straight from GoDaddy.com:
"ICANN regulations prohibit transferring a domain name that has been registered or previously transferred within the last 60 days."

On godaddy the time you need to leave is 60days, i dont know about enom, there probably the same.

The question was about transfers between accounts on the same registrar I do believe? I've read somewhere that at Moniker and GoDaddy you don't have to wait the 60 days bc 60 days is an ICANN policy about transferring between registrars- not to a different account under the same registrar.

I never used eNom, but I've heard they give practically the same result in service as NetFirm. (Not sure)

Of coz you can push within the same registrar.
