domain 3dprintersafety.com -- Please Appraise

I am looking for appraisals on 3dprintersafety.com. I was reluctant to reg it, since it is somewhat lengthy... but with the potential dangers that 3D printing could bring... I thought it might actually hold some decent (if speculative) value.

Are you aware of safety issues with 3d Printing? I was curious and checked to see if PrinterSafety.com was available - it is. Im not sure if this suggests this is not a great domain name but it certainly begs the question.

I think this was a stretch. I think you are gonna be out the registration costs.

Thanks for the appraisal, Spade. I'm not surprised that printersafety.com is available, since it's hard to imagine any danger associated with standard paper printing. With that said, there have already been issues with 3D printing, such as guns exploding when fired, and the simple fact that anyone might be able to print out a gun at home. I think the issue will present itself, but who knows if the domain will be worth its weight?

I agree - but the generic Printer could in the future refer to a broader range of printers (both traditional, 3d, and next gen stuff). I have heard about printing guns and having issues but would this be 3d printer safety or would this be Printed Gun safety?

It's easy to get caught in this mirage of domain flipping, but the truth is that it's harder and harder to find good domain names. Your best source of good names could the soon-to-expire lists ... you can find some gems there.
