I was thinking of a global rating site. A site divided in sections : design skills, writing skills etc.
Visitors could upload files to be rated ( not only images ).

Please let me know what you guys think about it.

ratemyskills is the best one IMHO....i agree with netPH for the most part:

ratemyskills.com - low-mid $xx
ratemyskillz.com - reg fee....maybe thrown in as a bonus in a package with the others?

agree with pavsta.
although, I would gear ratemyskillz.com towards some sort of music type rating site... like a head to head competition of some sort - like guitar battles or dj battles... stuff like that. would take a lot of work and hosting, but i think it would work better with the 'z' on the end than some sort of stiff web design skills forum.
