3-11 Madrid-- Devious Timing

The info has been making the rounds for a couple of days, so many of you have already heard about this, but I continue to be amazed about how wicked and twisted the AlQueda collective psyche is.

Number of Days between NY 9-11 and Madrid 3-11= 911

I am not big on on the Good vs Evil model for a world view, but AlQueda makes a pretty good case for the existence of evil in the world.

Additionally, most of the people in my sphere, whether leaning to left or right, are fairly well informed , so am also probably more shielded from the general pulse than I realize and can see where I could be giving the general public more credit than is due.

Completely understandable. We all have a sort of natural human tendency to do this. We pick up a sort of 'vibe' and go with it. In your case, it's good that you are around people who are well informed so at least you can have meaningful discussions with them.

Good point, and this is easily verifiable..just turn on any tv station or read any newspaper on both sides of the spectrum. Hard to spot those hardworkers trying to remain objective.

An equally important fact to remember, is that successful journalists are usually highly driven individuals looking for stories that will promote their careers, so it is not uncommon for them to embellish and sensationalize their material

True and sadly there's not much that really can be done about this. The nature of the news media today is such that sensationalism wins over content. Many NEWSworthy events are left out because the editors have to meet the bottom line and keep the advertisers on board and the money flowing. It's the business side of it.

Personally, I lean towards the left and see Republicans, conservatives, R Limbaugh, J. Falwell, P Robertson as well as George Bush and cronies to be a villainous lot....I get the feeling that “Junior” can crap all over the place and the machine around him will make it disappear or put a spin on it that makes it sound like an ecological advancement
