I need a new design and logo for my site www.pokercrowd.co.uk, this is a site for people to host and search for poker games. I will need a main front page and a sub page with little/no content as well as a unique logo. The design and logo must be sleek, clean and professional i dont want a "template" look with shiney orbs everywhere. An example of the type of design i like is http://www.bodog.com/poker/ no including the large white content section. Im looking for a dark design with the colours i like found at http://www.bodog.com/poker/ (not the red).

Mainpage: A simple layout with the header at the top, menu at the left and the content to the right. In the content a place for a 250px square ad logo promoting users to signup, A place for users to search for poker games and news items and also Poker Online. In the header i would also like a login form. The links i will need in the menu to begin with are Home, Search, Account, Forum, Poker Online, Poker School, FAQ, Contact

Sub Page: For this the layout is the same with the login form in the same place. In the content there will be need to be some sort of sub links at the top.

Logo: Im looking for a logo to represent the crowd part of the name kind of like the logo www.pokerroom.com has. It must match the design type and if you can do maybe multiple logo choices it will be a plus. I will be using this logo for many things like newsletters, being printed on t-shirts etc etc so it might be best to make it vector?

I will require all image files, fonts and anything else needed in the design. The design must be coded but its perfectly fine to code it after you have been chosen as the winner.

Okay, I'll pitch in, and keep in mind the design style you like.

Also, to all you other designers, please read the rules. I understand soem can forget, but your design MUST be watermarked. Otherwise anyone can steal the design, and thus the Admins have the right to delete your post if left without a watermark.

still some people waiting to submit designs, i said i would extend the competitionm its not my fault no one can design to a high standard (in my opinion)

theres no way im paying for something i dont like. so i will wait till there is something i do like.

Dream...I think its only fair to the people who posted designs in this thread and did alteration after alteration that you post the winning design up.

There is nothing to lose for you by doing this and it would be to easy otherwise for poeple to simply say that they had found a winner through PM to avoid paying out to a winner.

Well, I submitted a design to him instead of posting it here because it wasnt watermarked. i was half-way out the door at the time, so i was rushing and didnt have the time to watermark and post it here. and if im not mistaken, isnt posting un-watermarked material not allowed?

and.... Avoiding paying out the winner? right... So ur saying that even if he didnt like any of the designs here, that he should still pay for the one that is the most appealing, even though he wasnt satisfied with it? I submitted a design he liked... i dont see the difference if i were to have posted it here, he would have still chosen it.

Not paying a winner if their is a design which is not quite liked is really a bone of contention to be honest, and I am sure people have different thoughts on the matter.

I would say the difference between posting a design here and seeing it when it is up and running is that people then know that the design was chosen from here.
