I completely understand your thought process,
@VRs, and it's actually a very creative way to look at it! Turning a phrase into a noun is a known marketing tactic.
You are 100% correct about eBay owning the exact match, which is exactly why investors often try to find creative workarounds.
However, from a purely B2B acquisition standpoint, there is a distinct difference in market demand between natural plurals (Sales, Auctions, Offers) and forced noun-phrases (Nows). The main hurdle remains the "Radio Test." If an end-user has to explain their URL by saying, *"It's Buy It Now, but with an S at the end,"* that introduces traffic leakage, which corporate buyers try to avoid.
That being said, domaining is a highly subjective industry, and all it takes is ONE end-user who shares your exact vision and branding style to make a sale.
I genuinely wish you the best of luck with the portfolio! We are all here to learn from each other.
