The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

I have a few hyphen names so I am not coming at this in the blind or with a resentment of hyphens, all most all of these are brandable names which you would be hardpressed to find a buyer with the hyphen. Most will have no value because the keywords you have chosen dont have advertisers seeking them.
hope I am wrong
good luck

Thanks for your feedback.

The value I see in this portfolio is that each hyphenated domain name is also a genuine dictionary term. I would have approached this much differently had these domains been fabricated two word combinations that did not appear together in the dictionary as an actual compound word entry.

When I looked at Wordtracker, it showed fairly decent daily search interest for many of these compound words, and most of these terms (when searched as a word group in quotes) had Google page count results in the hundreds of thousands and millions.

So in searching for a meaningful benchmark, I would be very interested in knowing the value of the non-hyphenated .com counterpart of each of these domains. I realize, of course, that the hyphenated domains would be valued at significantly less, but it would give me something to use as a means of comparison.

I was waiting for others to chime in but since they didnt, to answer your question I think quiete a few of these names would have good sales and would be worth mid x,xxx
because of there memmorability, problem is most endusers wont build a brand around a hyphenated name, especiall when the non hyphenated name would enjoy half of there traffic, I think if they wanted it they would just offer 5k-10k for the non hyphenated name. There are a few exceptions to this but overall unless its a product/service keyword then there arent too many companies that brand a name with a hyphen. Some cases where they would brand a hyphen name might be green-card.com health-insurance.com car-parts.com etc. I own a few where the hyphen was branded by someone else and i benefit from there adds.
