domain 12 available domain names...

I have been doing my research on Domain names and found out (with help of searching the forums) that just because it looks good doesn't mean it is. I have been using Estibot and a few other appraisal sites to get an "idea" of what a site would be worth. I have found 12 free domain names that have a value between $30 to $2200. Would it be a good investment to buy them now? How would you invest in the names? I dont have the time to make a full working website for any of them. However if its a huge investment I may just as well do that. Opinions anyone?? Thanks

Honestly if you just rely on an automated tool you are bound to make bad purchases.
Furthermore, even a good appraisal means nothing if there is no buyer or market.

Ask yourself if the names are OK, do not sound awkward and if you can develop them in case they won't sell. Actually, I think you should register all domains on the basis that they won't sell.
