Guide to portfolio websites in NamePros Parking

A portfolio website is a single public page that lists each domain you choose within your NamePros Parking account, with search, filters, and your own branding. It is similar to a catalog: each domain has a page of its own, and your portfolio presents the whole collection in one place.

It is free, it takes about a minute to turn on, and every domain you choose appears on it as soon as you do. Want to see one first? Our demo portfolio is live at OurDomainPortfolio.com.

What a portfolio website is​

Your portfolio is a public page at namepros.com/portfolio/your-link that lists the domains you add to your account. Visitors to that page can:

• Search your domains by name.
• Filter by price, extension, category, and type (i.e., buy now, accepting offers, or inquiry only).
• Open any domain to go straight to it, wherever it points.

Everything a visitor sees comes from settings you already control. Prices, buy-now buttons, and cover images are the same ones your parking settings use, so your portfolio is not a second thing to maintain.

Note: Your domains do not have to use our landers. Each listing opens the domain itself, so visitors arrive wherever that domain already points, whether that is a NamePros lander, a lander from another service, or a full website of your own.

What a domain does need is verification, which is how we confirm the domain is yours. TXT verification does this with a single DNS record, so a domain can appear on your portfolio while it continues to point somewhere else. Verification happens once: after a domain is verified, it stays verified even if you later remove the TXT record or change the domain's nameservers.

Turn yours on​

Step 1: Turn on "Public portfolio"​

Go to Portfolio settings and select "Enable" under "Public portfolio." Your page is live as soon as you save. That is the only required step!

Step 2: Copy your link​

The "Direct link" row holds the permanent address of your portfolio. Use the copy button beside it to copy the address, or select "View your portfolio" to open the page.

Note: Your direct link always works, even before you turn the portfolio on and even if you turn it off later. Sharing it early is safe. While the portfolio is off, visitors see a short notice instead of your domains.

Step 3: Use one of your own domains (optional)​

If you would rather send people to a domain of your own than to a namepros.com address, use "Portfolio domain" under "Public portfolio." Start typing, then choose from your verified domains. Our demo portfolio at OurDomainPortfolio.com is hosted exactly this way.

A few things to keep in mind:

• The domain must be one you have already added and verified with us.
• That domain now hosts your portfolio, so it no longer appears as a listing on your own portfolio or in domain search.
• Your namepros.com link keeps working. Nothing breaks if you change or remove the domain later.

Choose which domains appear​

Every verified domain is included by default. To leave one out, turn off Include in portfolio.

Set it in your portfolio settings to change every domain at once, or open a single domain's settings to change that domain only.

Note: A domain appears on your portfolio when "Include in portfolio" is on for it and the domain is verified. Domains that are not verified yet never appear, so there is nothing to hide while you are still setting them up.

Your sale settings do not change this. A domain you have marked as not for sale still appears on your portfolio, labeled "Not for sale."

Title, subtitle, and description​

Three fields introduce you at the top of the page:

• Title is the large heading. Use your business name, or whatever you want the collection called.
• Subtitle is the single line underneath it.
• Description is a longer block below the header, for who you are and how you prefer to deal.

The description is HTML enabled, so the tags and template variables you already use on your landers work here too. See our guide to HTML, text formatting, and template variables.

Layout​

Layout controls how your domains are arranged:

• "Card" shows a visual grid of covers and prices. This suits portfolios whose domains have cover images, or a page you want to look like a shop.
• "List" shows a scannable list of names, categories, and prices. This suits large portfolios, where visitors read names rather than browse pictures.

Visitors can switch between the two themselves. This setting chooses what they see first.

Appearance​

Your portfolio has its own appearance, kept separate from your landers, so you can restyle it without changing a single domain.

Color and background​

• Theme hue sets the accent color used across the page. Pick one, or choose "Choose for me" and we will pick a good one.
• Content background offers "Light," "Dark," or the visitor's own preference.
• Header background can be a solid color, a gradient, or one of nine patterns.
• Transparent header removes the colored band behind your title, for a plainer look.

Domain hues and domain backgrounds​

Each domain on your portfolio is drawn as a colored tile. Two settings decide where those colors come from, and they work independently:

• Domain hues offers "Random hues," which picks from a curated set and reshuffles on each visit; "Your domains' hues," which uses the hue you set on each domain; or "A single hue," which colors every tile with one hue you pick.
• Domain backgrounds offers the same three choices for each tile's background. "A single background" gives every tile the same one: a solid color, a gradient, or one of nine patterns, colored by your Domain hues choice.

You can combine them however you like (e.g., random colors over your own patterns, or one color over random patterns).

Note: These settings affect the display only. Your domains keep their own appearance settings, and a domain with a cover image shows the cover when "Show cover image" is on.

Categories​

Categories group your domains so visitors can narrow a long list. Create them under Categories, then assign your domains to them.

• Create as many as you like, in whatever order suits you.
• Deleting a category does not affect the domains in it. Those domains simply stop being grouped.

Branding and your seller card​

• Seller card shows who is behind the portfolio, above the grid.
• NamePros branding is the footer credit, which you can remove.

Analytics​

Your portfolio can report to your own analytics separately from your landers, so portfolio traffic is not mixed into your per-domain numbers:

• Google Analytics
• Fathom
• Umami
• Statcounter

Export to CSV​

Your portfolio can be downloaded as a spreadsheet. Select the three dot menu beside the sort button, then select "Export CSV" to save a file named domains.csv.

The file lists every domain on the page with:

• Its name.
• Its type (i.e., buy now, make offer, inquire, or off market).
• Its price and currency, if you display a price.
• Whether it accepts offers.
• Price details, and whether an email is needed to see the price.
• Its categories.
• A link to the domain itself.

The file contains exactly what the page shows. Domains you have left out of your portfolio are not in it, unverified domains are not in it, and prices you have chosen not to display stay hidden.

Anyone viewing your portfolio can use the export. It is useful when a broker wants to load your inventory into their own systems, and it gives AI tools a clean, structured copy of your public listings.

The file updates whenever your portfolio changes, so a saved address always fetches your current inventory. The address is your portfolio link followed by /domains.csv.
