Advertisement?..

I made a web-site recently, got paid a LOT for it, so I included a whole lot of free bonuses like custom META tags creation (Wasn't in the deal), free domain, web-hosting for a year, etc. The buyer was so pleased, he wants to keep on having business with me. His web-site is brand new (not even launched yet, actually), and he'll need some advertising.

What are some PROVEN ways to increase sales? Google adwords on his main keyword go as high as $2 per click, his product is $40, so it's not an option. What else is a good way to increase targeted trafic?

If someone tells me "pick the right keywords and wait for google to send you thousands of visitors daily" or "Link or Banner exchange" I'll get mad

Where do I buy quality advertisement? The guy's site is about drunk driving, DUI / DWI, etc.

You can post in various web related forums and state that you (your client) has a need for advertising. I'm sure that there is at least one person with a DUI related site out there.

True, there is. But the one we know is our competetor, so.... o_0

Try advertising on sites which have good amounts of quality area. And make sure a sites primary visitor is the one the site product is aimed at. Basically its no good advertising a product aimed at the uk on a chineese website for example.
