i posted about this in the private forums

in fact, ill just mention it here because im so mad...

this person has been spamming me non stop with this domain for the past 36 hours or so via AIM, the AIM screen name is websitepr0

when i told him to stop and that he is being reported, he started hitting the warning button until i was at 50%

as a matter of fact, i made a screenshot to verify his url, in case he decides to change it and say it isnt him

apparently he got my aim name thru wht or here. this is NOT cool.

i got at least 10 AIMs from this person trying to get me to visit the board and then telling me to buy it, all in a matter of a few hours

the board is brand new and isnt worth crap. buy it and youll prolly get lots of spam reports

You can only be warned to 35% by one person, but yet it is very annoying. Sorry.

whoever it is sounds like they are 12. ive seen this name all over the place and like i said, they IMd me repeatedly. when i went to block them he started hitting the warnings. incidentally, i was right in the middle of a business conversation on AIM and the other person was like, what is going on.

ive already reported them to their provider.

this is just stupid.

then i come here and see the same thing, didnt even realize it was someone here.

The spammer is t0ny. From what I understand, this is his domain and phrone is brokering it? Laruen has a right to be angry after being harassed by the owner of techhangout.com. Your original post didn't specify that phrone was not the owner of this domain, so it's easy to see how the connection was made.

phrone, just a suggestion to be careful who you associate with in business. Actions of your partners can reflect on yourself. "I don't think he gets the whole spam idea and how it's not nice. " Do you really believe that?

not to mention, im getting PMs here from these people which have been forwarded to rj! i dont understand this spamming/harrassment at all! how did i get chosen to be involved in all this?

I personally know that t0ny is a spammer, so there is no doubt in my mind that this person is telling the truth.

You do have responsibility, just because it is your partner, or associate, or whatever you want to call him, is spamming and harassing others, it still has a negative affect on you.

I agree with Tom. And I think people who might have been interested in this domain should have the right to know that the domain was being spammed! I received unsolicited IMs from this "websitepr0" about this site also! Someone who might have purchased the domain could have ended up in trouble because of someone spamming it. Just my 2 cents...

Phrone it is what Tom and Light stated. There is a guilty by association and a suggestion for the feauture dont let this happen again, just stop doing buisness with him. Because think about it this way, if someone has lets say a partnership with aol and goes and one of them spams msn, aol gets in trouble as a whole not just the person who has spammed... i know aol/msn is a bad example because they are corperations... not partnerships but it works the same, i have been spammed by him and my im count of his is 3-5 times this spamming from websitepr0 needs to stop be it you or t0ny
