the main thing for this project is a script that manages videos.
That video should come from a mobile phone so their format would be something like
- 3GP
- 3GPP

that script can be a joomla component or can work outside of Joomla and with a wrapper it can be accessed through the Joomla website

Ouch, sorry to here that. I am following in your footsteps in that Joomla seems to be the CMS I am leaning towards for my .mobi dev.

I hope you get everything back up and keep us updated.

i managed to get it done.
Next step is to implement a file upload script.
After that i ll try to make it just for mobi's video format like 3gp

I just learned joomla and did one site (a .com). Is this .mobi compatible Joomla site something even a novice will be able to do?

I would love to be able to do my own mobi's.

its not a big deal...
u could watch this topic as i proceed further and learn with me or i could build it for u for a small fee.
Remember that this template is getting 3/5 when it comes to mobi compliance...
so we still have things to do.

Joomla and Drupal are on the right way.

yeah i just wanted to say that template isnt 5/5 at ready.mobi
I founded that template many time ago. and it's more for pda then mobile but still possible to use.
