Hello,

I'd need a hosting that fits with these needs :

- Windows hosting
- PHP support
- PHP GD library
- Permissions to execute third-party applications (i.e. exe files)
- Permissions to execute Internet Explorer

Very small space needed.
1000-2000 MB monthly transfer needed.

Budget is low x$ / month.

Presumably you need a VPS if you wish to execute applications, is this what you meant?

You would need a remote desktop to run .exe

You are looking at around $30 for a low spec windows VPS. This is because of windows licensing costs.

I do concur and most hosts do not do these. The reason being they can be set up as zombies or whatever the buyer wants. Too many risks for the costs involved and many many head aches.

Of course this is my views and should not deter anyone from selling or trying their ideas.

Thanks so much for all your informations.

In fact, it is to run a website thumbnail generator script that needs to run internet explorer in order to take a snapshot of the website.

If anyone has another idea in order to be able to do this, it will be very welcome.

This can be done using php and the phpGD library.
Look into it, all you need is a basic php host with PHPlibrarys enabled.
