Thanks to @Lox we now know, that Microsoft owns the domain copilot .si

SI, clearly, stands for Super Intelligence in this case.

Do you own any .si domains?

I'll start with the one I have;

Roboter .si

How about you?

One of my .si just got pre-approved for an instant pemium upgrade on atom, with a max listing price of $197,899 😳😳. Seems pretty high to me, especially since .si has only recently started getting attention... Would you guys price it that high?

The maximum listing price is quite impressive, but a range that spans almost 99 times from the minimum to the maximum is too broad to interpret as a precise estimate of what a domain is worth. For us at MyDomainPlan, one possible explanation is that a marketplace needs to accommodate buyers with very different budgets and objectives. A wholesale investor may evaluate a name primarily on resale potential, while a startup may assess it against its branding budget. An established technology company may consider its competitive positioning, and a well-funded AI company may attach strategic significance to securing an unusually strong name.

In addition, marketplace operators have incentives to encourage registrations, attract listings and facilitate acquisitions. These activities can help a market develop. They can also increase the number of participants who are willing to speculate on its future. Neither outcome should be confused with independently demonstrated end-user demand. The most important data as far a domain value is concerned is actual sales, everything else is speculative.

Now to your specific question, it is impossible to hazard a guess since the name of the domain is not revealed. However from Atom's price range, it is easy to deduce the value of the domain as ranging from ordinary to highly premium. This is my view.

Thought experiment.

.si = trending
.no = not trending

.SI HOLDERS:

The Domain Industrial Complex (DIC) won't tell you what it doesn't want you to know.

These DICs won't acknowledge .si's moonshot potential until they've positioned themselves and hedged their .ai portfolios.

Higher .si floors are likely near term.

New research by the American Institute of Physics (AIP) shows that the shift from AI to Super Intelligence is already going further than the original September 29 executive order requires.

What's new?

During an October 7 webinar, NSF official Junping Wang explained that existing grant documentation could be updated to reflect the new terminology.

His statement:

“Your program director may work with you by changing AI to SI.”
This means that even existing project descriptions and grant documentation could be revised to replace AI with SI.

This is particularly noteworthy because the September 29 executive order does not explicitly require retroactive changes to existing grant agreements.

In his first speech as AI minister, Kanishka Narayan uses Donald Trump’s new name for it.

“As we cross the threshold into the age of *super intelligence*, the choices we make now matter.”

SI term is now used in the UK too!

I've been in domaining for over 20 years and never seen anything like .si.

You have people who put up 15 posts a day saying negative things to protect their bags or because they don't have the skills or personality to deal with this kind of market.

On the other side you have…
