Hello,

I've never been given any "outside feedback" on anything on my website (only feedback from within my community) so would love to hear your comments on my header. As a bit of background info, the community I own is primarily a gaming one thus the gaming-related pictures in the banner.

Header I made can be found here: http://www.OpticalGaming.com/images/banner.jpg

Comments?

Regards,

Matt

It looks good except for the text. I like the way you blended the images, but the text just doesn't quite match the layout.

I've always agreed on the font subject, although I've had a really hard time finding appropriate text for each part - even with 1700 fonts installed on my PC! :)

Font suggestions are more than welcome :)

Thanks for your comment.

Matt

Check out some gaming sites and see what their texts look like. That would be my best guess.

I like it, although there is too much picture and not enough text! (aka I dont think the text is big enough.

Thanks for your comments. I've been trying to find a suitable font for the past few days and I've had no luck so far. I can see this is going to be a hard job :)

Awesome banner mate. But as all said, make font look good on it. Its totally out of the banner image.

i like the scary looks, probably you need to add more game graphic to your header to make it busier, also change's the font /color like everyone else said.

It isn't bad, but I think you need to spice it up and change the text. Big pixel fonts look horrible :(

quick recommendation,
I would remove the figure on the far left and replace it with a logo (company name/site name.) I would change the font to something very clean and simple. Arial bold is enough. Since the banner is all about imagery you don't want the text to compete at all. The text should just convey whatever info you want to convey. Let your logo say something about your company.

My 9¢

Good luck..
