what is the highest evaluation you have gotten for a domain that you bought or were going to buy?mine was for $68000 from freevaluator.

Never use these free automated appraisal tools, they just guess a figure. Its a waste of time.

Just advice to some new to the industry.

The GDiddy appraisal tool is better than most. It is not a waste of time, and a good starting point or basis.

When the domain valuation is beyond its ken, it states simply that it is worth over $25K. I get that appraisal on some of my domains.

Each to their own I guess, its advice aimed at new domainers not to use automated appraisal tools, some of the appraisals I've seen from the GD tool are hilarious

i have an addition to my original post. picked up alluq.com from expireddomains.net. ran it through freevaluator and got $1.1 mil.mysitewealth returned $7.5 mil. wtf
