Hi, Experts,

Is there any free method of having a domain name one owns of securing a free “For Sale” that interested parties see when googling the name?

Like a registrar that will install one if you use its name as your Nameservers? I should add that l know English inside-out (as l teach it) but, sadly, for me, am a tech-illiterate and couldn’t construct such a page if offered a date with Charlize Theron.

As l tell students, the whole world wants to learn to speak and write English—except for American students, who want to be tech experts, as that is a much-more-likely way to make major money.

Thanking you in advance!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Namesilo like other registrars will automatically assign your domain to their own nameservers if you don't put any in. And from the Parking Manager you can configure a message saying it's for sale. I haven't used it, but it looks like it is easy to do.

I tried out just adding some text to the parked page only in the section for Content. I didn't bother with the meta etc or any other section. I hit submit, and it appeared right away. I'm sure you could do better than my example (you can enlarge the text, etc) and make it nice.

My example: cyberknitting. com

If you list your name at Afternic and use its nameservers ( https://www.afternic.com/domain-parking ) your page will look something like this:

A message appeared from Namesilo saying that it showed so quickly because the domain was already parked. If it weren't it takes up to 72 hrs.
Anyway, that's one really simple way to get a lander up. Others could tell you better ones, I'm sure.
