So I'm FINALLY slowly starting to get my domains listed.

Despite barely starting I'm getting more interest than I was expecting .. that being said .. I just got the following on a fairly standard lander ...

Domain: DailyPlaylist (in com)

Buyer Comment: i want to submit music to this playlist

On a recent Domain Sherpa, Andrew Rosener talked about how a domain Media Options is brokering (Yang dot com) started receiving tons of emails after one of the Democrat Debates from people asking for $1000 a month simply because it was one of his proposed future policies that he might implement if he because President!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
On TudorVillage.com I had someone ask that they wanted to rent a 2 bedroom apartment for $750 a month...

Sure...I will let them rent the domain for $750 a month no problem :) but it doesn't come with on suite unfortunately!

I had a few drunk people ringing asking where they can sell jelly wrestling. A million call centres answering yes to direct question. "Are you ringing to buy the domain?" Only for me to hang up few seconds later.

If you're getting this type of "offers" on a domain landing page, then it's not a good sign. It all means the lander is not carrying the right message across. Just my opinion.

It could also be an indicator of type in traffic.

Quite possible. The bone of contention here is if the landing page objective is to receive offers for the sale of the domain and visitors (save for spam robots) are posting anything other than offers, then it's not a good sign. The message that the domain is for sale is not being properly conveyed.

There are a number of producers, some with Hollywood clients, who brand their aerial works posted to Roku and other video platforms, as 'Drone TV'. As I own the .com I regularly get offers addressing them by name -but sent it to me.

The first time this happened, about 4 years ago, it was clear... from this Hollywood producer's email talking about how nice it was to have a drone on set, and how cool it was to own Drone TV, that the drone pilot let this fairly famous Hollywood producer think that.

While my first reaction was to reply to the email and set the record straight, I decided to find the drone pilot's email and forward the email to him. Its been rinse-and-repeat for him and some others over the years.

Forwarding emails is not much work, and the droners are really appreciative. The funny thing is, because that pilot gave Hollywood the impression that he owns Drone TV... 3 years ago my domain won, and is now listed, as the Best Production Studio, in the drone category, in a major Film and TV industry catalog.

Sounds like the value just went up. 🤣 I am surprised some of these producers haven't gotten the idea to make an offer on it yet. Guess that shows how tech illiterate they are that they haven't thought of doing so.

^^ Hard to tell if any of the offers I've gotten came from that listing.

Getting tens of inquiries from people in Pakistan, India, and the like at WeeklyPayment (com) this year. Most of the time I can find why this is happening, but no idea here.

I'd ask for dates, then make an itinerary and an invoice and see where it gets me LOL

A hustle inside the hustle. Love it.

A few today, but this is the better one from Grow//Dude (com) - I don't believe most people read anything on the page they visit if they assimilate the domain with something they think they know.

Good domain = instant trust.

You must have quite the portfolio to get all these. I just get a few low balls here and there never anything entertaining.
