I did an evaluation earlier today on a Token + Word .com domain asset that fits nicely in this Token topic of discussion (The thread prefix indicates it's a discussion). For those interested in this type of Token combination evaluation, it might be helpful.Asset Type:
Two-Words / Brandable / Psychological InfluenceNote: I like to use the Merriam-Webster dictionary, as it seems to be one of the most world renowned and recognized. There are a lot of different ways you can spin "Token" beyond cryptocurrencies and physical coin tokens. (E.g. A "Token of appreciation")Note: Recent trending sales is pretty low in this Token + word combinationThe top two you pointed out with biggest sale amount are parked or don't resolve. That's either a sign of the sale being reseller related or reseller to hobbyist related. Most companies that invest in an asset like that will generally put up a coming soon or under construction page, possibly with a launch counter or subscription lead capture for launch notifications. The downside here is that it may also mean the data is reseller inflated, so it's hard to use that type of data with much accuracy.Full Evaluation - VIP/Gold OnlyOpinion:
Maybe look more into Government applications, there may be more, deeper than the surface of that page above found. That might be kind of neat to have a Government Agency end-user purchase under your belt (If you haven't sold to one already), but then, they could just do it on a .Gov, so it may need to be a sub-contractor of a Government Agency.
Unfortunately, it may be a case where they don't want to give the Token****** term itself any exposure to the general public and not interested at all in the asset.
There are still plenty of creative directions the combination can go according to the definitions and psychological play, as well as some reseller market liquidity in the combination. So, you're still golden.
The hard part is identifying the potential end-user, gathering more research on their specific niche, formulating a presentation, negotiating, and closing.
Your asset does have reseller liquidity in today's market, however, you will still have to do a lot of leg-work to find the right buyer and apply the hard parts I also mentioned above, which in most cases, investors fail at.
