It is not worth more than the above, Joyful is an adjective and joy is a noun.

Joy is 3 letters compared to the 6 letter joyful

Read both out loud, which sounds better? For me Joy.tv rolls of the tongue much nicer......

Obviously, joy.tv is better. But as second better name, I think a low $x,xxx to mid $x,xxx is possible. The most attractive factor for me is its positive meaning.

Your name does have some value, again not sure on price but you have past sales history to work with. Only thing is there has been 1 past sale of "joyful" and that was in 2008 so it does not appear to be a popular keyword so that could work against it.

Also I needed to call that person out. Seen them giving silly valuations for a while now with nothing backing them up....

I would say that it's popular, but not so popular than joy. And this is ok for me. The good thing is that many users who use joy or joyful keywords are potential buyers. Since I don't have the same expectations as joy.tv, this name may be a good surprise. We will see.
