After 2 weeks more or less into domaining, I came to a point where I noticed expired domains are better than hand regd. With that said what should I look for in the stats? I mean, I know what many of the stats stand for (speaking of expireddomains.net) but how do you valuate the characteristics as a whole, for sure not all 4L's are the same.

Thank you for your time :)

Some of my criteria ...
- .com
- The shorter, the better (under 15 characters)
- The more its registered in other TLD's, the better (usually, but not a requirement, but a good starting point)
- The more commercial, the better (keywords with advertisers vs made up words. Not a requirement, but a good starting point.)
- The easier to say the better. Passes the radio test ... if said out loud, can someone understand and spell the words.

Thank you very much, you're the only one actively replying in this section :xf.laugh:

Anyway i'll try to get one following this, who knows what might happen.

Haha - i'm usually in the "Domain Name Discussion" section which combines all of the categories together so i see a lot of this stuff.

Also this is how you get really up to speed with domaining -
- Listen to all of the archive DomainSherpa episodes. Binge like its a Netflix special that will make you money.
- If you can afford it, buy and go through DNAcademy

4l com arent for regfee on that expired site..and other 4l are not worth yer time and money...

as for other names in general ..imo its not about stats...its strictly about general domaining knowledge and experience that allows us to take 2sec glance at any name and tell if its worth having..but this takes years of hardwork to master...cheers

My 2 cents. I suggest, you open all threads in Domain Auction section here at NP. https://www.namepros.com/forums/domain-auctions.63/. You'll get an idea what names are sought after by experienced domainers and what are ignored by them. I keep checking these places.
