Dynadot Account Hacked

So I log into my Dynadot account this morning and noticed someone re-entered my CC number with a different last name and different state. I told Dynadot and they did not seem to concerned. My account was obviously hacked.

yes they are under auction lock. Probably tried to take them.

Dynadot's solution was to delete CC and change password. what a joke!!!

I deleted my credit cards and will not do anymore business with Dynadot.

How can they know within 30 seconds if they were no abnormal log-ins? Someone entered in the different CC info, I sure as hell did not.

unless you have some super simple password (not sure if its even possible) i'd be checking your computer for viruses.

Maybe they checked access logs & nothing was abnormal re ip addresses, you can confirm with support

Like others have suggested change password. If possible, enable TFA.

But was might be a reason for that? Okay a hacker might want to change your whois email, to unlock your domains... But CC? Did he want to pay for some domains for you from his pocket? lol

No that is weird, why would someone re enter my CC info. Different last name was entered as well as address. My domains are locked from recent auctions won that's why they cannot be transferred.

You mean birthday verification. It asks me that if I want to unlock domain. I can't imagine how that info got on there?

No, when you login, you should get a second screen where you press a button and you are sent a code via SMS to your cellphone.

Once you have this activated, you will do it to log in, and again if you attempt to unlock a domain.

Sounds like you are not using TFA (Two Factor Authentication). You really should.
