Thoughts on registering for parking purposes a domain that has freshly been deleted. I personally think its one that may have slipped by unnoticed but want to get an outside opinion on whether you would give it a shot Details below.

Its a .net that was first registered in 2001

domain is VERY common search phrase with IT implications
- has 20.4M Monthly Exact Monthly Searches and 83.1M Global monthly searches

is 1 letter shy of a VERY popular and widely used app.
- In a way it would be a misspelling but again it is a stand alone search term/phrase

.com, .org .info .xyz and all major ccTLD are taken. Only issue I see is that it has 0 backlinks.

Think there is parking value?

Honestly, most people have no idea to even look at it - unless it's for building or they are an SEO.

So, if ABC.com was de-indexed, I doubt it would lose any value as a domain property. But if you have (one like mine)AcceleratedSoftware.net - it would be worthless.

I see 2 ways to look at the value. based on your question. 1. Yes a good domain has value, history aside. 2. If I really like the domain can i fix it - Yes, but its really not worth it.

Instead, get that name you love, build on a solid site, and redirect the one you like to it and leave it at that. It will fix it's self (not really, kind of) overtime but you wont go broke trying to rank it.

Make sense?

Also - for your redirect sites - look at Majestic TF, move on if its under 15 +++++ and do not point flow that does not makes sense.

e,g. dont point a restaurant site at your domain blog.

The TF is to go along with all the other metrics you plan to use, but add TF for redirect sites.

Loud and clear. Makes perfect sense.

If you want to give me an example domain, thats expiring, I would be happy to do a full workup and show you the stuff to look for.

Rebuilding is a different thing and really depends how far you want to go & learn. There are quick ways and there are detailed ways - that are far more lucrative in the long term.

Just re-read this and appreciate the offer. If the offer is still available I'll send you a few examples and you can choose the one that is easiest demonstrate/illustrate? I'll PM you the list if your game.

Thanks again!
