Hi, I'm Chris and I'm new to domaining. I took a course made by a guy who has been doing this successfully for years so I'm hoping to follow in his footsteps.

I've been in internet marketing in general for about a year and a half. I do solo ads and affiliate marketing as well. It would be nice to generate a stream of income that doesn't constantly require me to find more and more new customers!

I'm looking forward to continuing to learn about this industry.

Hello Chris .. and welcome to NamePros! :)

Which course did you take? Not to many of them out there .. DNAcademy by @Michael Cyger (formerly @DomainSherpa) is probably one of the better ones. Also definitely listen to older Domain Sherpa Reviews .. those are lessons in of thmselves almost with all the great opinions shared there.

Tons of information here as well!

Best of luck on your voyage into domaining! :)

I learned from Rami Steitiyeh in his course DNBlackbook. I have to admit that it's a bit overwhelming getting started.

Hmmn .. I haven't even heard of that one (doesn't mean it's not good). It can be overwhelming .. and it's very easy to spend lots on domains that look good at first .. but have one small issue about them which makes them worth almost nothing. Definitely take your time .. check out these forums and the various blogs and podcasts! :)

Was going to say "watch" who you take a advice from, some "books" have been written by authors with no domaining history and just rewrite someone else stuff but since

@Silentptnr and @deez007, spoke highly of this person, guess you picked the right guy!

Plus with marketing behind your belt, you have most of the battle of selling your domains "licked" (beaten)
Anyway..
