Anyone have an idea on resale value

www.fastspins.com

its quirky and you don't have to be an idiot to know what it relates to.

Thanks pierre. I imagined so. I get the urge to buy domains sometimes then the day after realise how worthless they really are lol.

Hey Dan, to be honest, I would have done the same. The domain "looks" cool at first glance, and short and pronounceable...all the good things. Then you are in a mad rush to register this "great find" and beat everyone else to it!

Later, as you said, you look at it again and think...DAMN...

I think my $6.99 was a bit low, I think post it on Flippa and see, maybe someone surprises you.

Thanks for the honest opinion. I never assumed it was worth a fortune but at the time looked pretty catchy like you said and possibly gambling related. Unless theres a new internet craze coming up were people spin round really fast and they call it fast spins... then im sh*t out of luck lol. Can i lend your expert ear a second for slmething else? So short and sweet tends to be best for domains i know that, but what if you say had a 17/22 letter domain name for example 2 maybe 3 words, which made perfect sense? Would it be worth going for?

Yes sure, three and even four word domains have sold for high prices in the past. Normally (not always), these domains are highly searched phrases/words with high CPC. If you are able to obtain such a domain and handreg it, why not...

Ill keep my eyes open then. Thanks for the advice. I bought loads of domains with weather in the title last week thinking theyd be worth something. Weekdayweather.com workingweather.com weatherthunder.com weatheranchor.com i thought i had something at the time lol at the moment i have a portfolio of 50 or so domains and i doubt any of them are worth anything now looking at them

You should put a few up for auction at Flippa for $9 each. no reserve, starting at $1. Five days each. Then advertise them everywhere. If no sales, then re-list for free a second time.

Put some basic site there, maybe a code canyon slot for $10 and maybe a simple chat along side it. Add value, then list on flippa. It's a nice short domain, that can be brand able but you can maximise your profits by spending a small amount of cash

Thats not a bad idea maybe look into it. What do you guys think something like this would be worth. Www.empirestatebuilding.com say when they first bought the domain what could someone charge? Or www.burjkhalifa.com for example

I would imagine so too. If you had something like this would it be best to use a broker? Or try find the right people yourself

Hmmm just thinking here.. maybe, just maybe...there could be a potential end user market for this domain in the online casino niche? ..... the slot machine games in particular ..."fast spins"

That was my initial thought deez, but were do qe fond these magical end users. Thats the question. I think i need a good broker.

Hmmm not so sure if it would fetch a high enough price for a broker to be interested in.....I think maybe you best bet would be to stick it on flippa and sedo and see what sort of offers you get

Agree with @deez007, I dont think brokers would even look at it.

Prior purchasing a domain you might want to know what sort of search does the domain have per month and what is the value for the domain. You can use sites like Est bot to find out. Fastspins is heard cool , and might be a brandable domain, however finding the right buyer needs patience and not easy. As suggested you could try auctioning in Flippa for USD 9, or try in eBay which is free.

Thanks rhakim. A few people have said the same thing so ill give it a go sometime this week. Im going to try the free auctions with godaddy first. If no luck ill try flippa premium auction.
