We are no longer charging a commission to promote your names to end-users. Sign up TODAY for free and submit up to 10 names per month. We might close registration at some point in order to manage all the submissions.

For every domain we accept, we will contact 10 end-users on your behalf. Check www.PreSelecting.com for details.

Why should you sign up? Here are some of the benefits:

Benefits of the new model to the domain investor

1) Experience: After selling hundreds of GEO and keywords domains, we have a very good idea of who we should contact and how to get the contact information in a timely manner, in addition to the wording we should use when dealing with potential buyers.

2) Easy Contact: We have an online presence (PreSelecting.com and NetworkPackage.com) and when we contact end-users, they can email us or call us, which has happened many times. We can speak with them and clarify any doubt or question they may have.

3) Saving Time: Some domain owners may not have the time to do the end-user research and the time they would spend on it might be worth more than $8.99 to them. So, we save them time, which is money.

4) Non US Residents: Nearly all our sales are in the US, where we are located. As a general rule, people tend to prefer to deal locally and might be afraid to respond to an email received from overseas. So, we remove this possible barrier from domain investors who do not live in the US. This is not to deny that many domain investors make sales from overseas and do outbound successfully, but we remove this possible obstacle.

5) Low Cost: For only $8.99, the domain owner will just have to sit down and let us do the work and this will substantially increase the chance of getting offers for their domain.

6) No Commission: With no commission, domainers will keep virtually all of the money they make with their domain, since we only charge a $25 flat success fee for names that sell under $1000 and just a 10% success fee for names that sell over $1000. This fee only charged if the domain sells.

7) Interested Party Contact Information: When an interested party comes along, we give the domain owner the contact information of the person who showed interest or made the offer, so they can contact the person in the future. So, if the name does not sell now, it might sell later, since you already know who is interested.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Only four days after changing to this model and we have already started selling names for our members. They will be announced soon on the Completed Sales thread.

You can be the next seller...

@infosec3 - In the mails that you send to end-users, do you mention that you (Network Package/Preselecting) are mailing on the behalf of owner of domain, OR it's just that you have the mentioned domain that is available for purchase? If it's latter, then I think it can lead to trust deficit because the recipient can easily cross-check the actual owner (from Whois), and may not take the sale offering seriously.

Hi,

We let the end-users know we are acting as brokers for the domain. If the potential buyer checks Whois, that is great for the domain owner, since they can contact him directly.

That has happened to us before and in some case the end-user buys the domain through us or dealing directly with the owner.

Thanks,
PreSelecting

With the new model do you provide information about who you contacted and what there response was?
With old model you had 30 day lock period? what happens to that in this case?
and is it still limited to geo domains or you are opening up to all possibilities?

Thanks for your questions.

We provide a report listing the web addresses or names of the businesses we contacted with a screenshot showing the time at which each contact was made.

If an interested party comes along, we pass that information to the domain owner. We no longer have a 30 day lock period. We are interested in all keyword names, not only GEO. But we prefer not to promote brandades.

Thanks,

We no longer have a 30 day lock period.

You anyways promote the domain only once (when it is accepted in your system). So, I don't think it will affect whether it's 30 day lock period or not. Correct me if I am missing anything.

This new model seems more transparent than the previous one.

The member who asked the question was referring to the previous commission model we had, in which if the name sold within 30 days, we charged a commission. With this new model, we are not holding your name at all. Yes, we charge a $25 success fee if it sells as a direct result of our promotion, but we do not bound you to specific time.

In reference to contacting the end-user once. Yes, that is generally the best practice, because no response is usually a sign that they are not interested. If and end-user shows interest, we respond and even answer or respond their phone calls if they reach us, which usually happens.

Thanks,
PreSelecting.com

We sold some great names recently, lead last week by PlasticFabrication.com for $2200. We are nearly booked for next week, but still have space for a few more submissions.

Submit your names today and they will be scheduled for promotion soon after acceptance.

I have a question: let's say the names get accepted, invoice is paid, and emails are sent to the end users. Do we get any notification from you if no enduser answers? How long should we wait until there's no chance the endusers are interested?

Thanks for your question. After we promote the domain, we send you a report listing the companies we contacted. If an end-user responds, we notify you immediately.

Reports usually go out between Friday and Sunday after your domain is promoted.

Inspite of our efforts and continuous sales, in many cases end-users do not respond.

We have had cases in which end-users respond weeks or even months after being contacted, but generally those who are interested respond within one week.

Thanks,
PreSelecting.com
