You cannot use different nameservers than wix nameservers. To host site externally you need to use your hosts' DNS records at wix. You cannot use cloudflare CDN even if you host the site on wix.
Whois privacy: $9.90

Just so you know what you are getting into trying to save few dollars.

I transferred 2 domains over, discount applies to transfers and over multiple years as well, so 5 years came to $6.40/year. NS records changed, still not showing as transferred, 5 years not showing on the expiration, I'm stuck in support hell with wix.

To close this saga. Chat support was horrendous, phone support was okay, had to get to a supervisor who was US based and gave me the confidence it would get checked handled by the appropriate group. 48 hours after releasing from my original registrar Wix finally let me update DNS.

Wix does not support subdomain MX records, ugh. They also don't allow for less common SRV records, only allowing for things like SIP, autodiscover, etc. I may move some domains I just have parked to get some pretty great transfer pricing, but can never recommend moving a domain that has a live site over.

It's 1 per customer, why would you move more domains? you can move to whc.ca for same price of $8.

I was already able to move 2 with the promo code, so the "1 per customer" is not accurate. Pricing came to $6.40/year.... versus whc.ca that's around $8 savings over 5 years, multiple by maybe 10 domains I have parked, $80 savings.
I would not move any domain I have hosting on because of the NS limitation.

I've stopped hunting 1st registration discounts. I've found a couple of services with normal prices for reg and ext. This 1-5 USD which you save will not be a big issue if you launch a project or get some income from your domain.

Well, I bit the bait. The transfer (from Spaceshit) went smoothly until WIX decided to siletly update my nameservers to theirs. Without importing my DNS settings of course. So all DNS records now point to WIX, but I can't edit them - support says it might take "up to 7 days" before I can change NS records back.
Definitely stay away from this promo...
