I asked for payment on delivery with a transfer to be done away from the russian registrar. The seller said no problem and I thought it was a bit odd, but since he answered the whois email I didn't suspect anything... Then yesterday @wwwweb alerted me that he called the previous owner and that...

domains Flippa finally received the redesign it's been promising...

I liked the previous version when you could check ending soon or most bids all in one place (for websites, domains and apps..).. Now it seems that you you have to check 3 different searches if you want to check everything..

question What happened to Flippa appraisal?

The bolded part is dead wrong.. There was exactly 0 value in their appraisals because no one was appraising to actually add value/input to the system.. Everyone was just doing it for the free credits. I hope that they are killing it off as that would mean less crappy names listed in auctions...

Hand registering domains is a mugs game - Here's why

First off, if you register domain names, don't spend $10 per reg, spend $1-$3 max with discount codes. That makes things easier.. Second, if no one has approached you, why don't you approach people? The drops won't be much different then hand regs in this department ;) Good luck!

I think it is just a PR stunt from XYZ to get more publicity.. The media coverage of the Google purchase died down already and they need to keep up the hype going to sell some more .xyz domains. This is just my opinion based on my waking up brain and nothing else :)

Flippa Domains and the Quest for a (Near) Perfect Marketplace

Get rid of free relisting or put them on a time limit as Acro said.. My eyes are starting to bleed from all the same crap that is relisted every few days or weeks and probably won't ever sell..
