advice Buying domains before renewal, do I have to pay for another year?

Hi, I am new here and have bought a few domains. Most of them have 6m plus on the renewal, do I have to pay an extra year when I take ownership? I have transferred most to namesilo and have had to pay for an extra year. Is it better to push to another account with the same provider? Thanks.

I understand the point about developing a site may put off domain buyers as it appears to be a complete site. Maybe a message in the header/footer, this domain is for sale? I guess my thinking is about adding value to a domain name, work a functioning or partially function site add more history...

Following on from another point earlier, creating a WP blog is time consuming but a decent site/blog can be made in a few hours. Not sure about the autopost affecting the ads tos. You could use something like Divi, make a site layout and then just export it to other sites. That is probably...

Hi, I have read a few threads in this forum, most refer to parking not making as much as it used to or not doing well at the moment. Would it be worth creating a wordpress blog or site and adding content or using a news finder script to add posts and then add adsense, amazon affiliates etc...

Epik pricing strategy

I was searching for the NP discount with Epik and found this thread. Just so I am clear, do I just need the ?affid link or do I need to contact Rob? Never used Epik before, added a domain months ago for $8.99 just to check out the service. Switching from NS and PB due to the price increase...

Epik Marketplace Commissions / Fees Knowledge Thread

I wish Epik would clearly state the fees instead of making me search for the fees. I usually sell on NS and the fees are clear. Someone suggested Epik because of the custom HTML landing pages which is great and something to consider.

Dub.io - A new tool for parking your domains

I am going wrong somewhere with the CNAME as I thought I setup a site correctly yesterday, works fine with the dub.io address but the domain url is not loading. Using a godaddy domain, loads of CNAME entries already exist and I can't see a way to remove them.

Can I just add a cname to divert the name to mydubsitename.dub.io and leave the dns? Do I need to enter the other dns settings or just have this single field with a * or @?
