I did not mention that of course I still owned the domain, thought it was obvious. I did try to bid higher to see what happened, but you have to be a member of GD auctions apparently, which I am not. So I can't check what happens if someone bids higher and ends up winning the auction. I...

I visited the domainparking page of GD for my domain, and my name was being auctioned for close to 1K. That was new to me, I did pay the GD fee for auction a few years ago, but then stopped paying so it wasn't up for sale anymore ! what's up with that ? Is that another questionable trick of...

Ebay ? How do you make the transfer so as to give confidence to potential buyers ? edit: OK I see you just push your domain to another GD customer ? What if you are with another registrar ? And how good is eBay to sell domains ? I mean who searches for domains on eBAY ?

I have contacted Melbourne IT demanding an explanation for how the transfer failed. I got an automated reply to the effect I could pay $150. I told them if there was no reaction , no explanation or no recovery of my name at no cost I would become very bad publicity, that it would be all over...

I was told by my registrar that someone backordered my name so I can't backorder it. This is a nightmare. And its very odd because just a couple days earlier the registrar had suggested I backorder it and it didn't seem to be a problem at that time, they could do it right then and there. Now...
