When there is no budget, “I have a client” is a way to blame someone else for your lowball offer. People that hire domain brokers for acquisitions don’t have $300 budgets.

Someone is trying to get a Trademark for my domain, do I need to challenge it?

Stop seeking legal advice from domain investors! Unless you are actually operating a business of that name, you have: 1. No trademark rights to said domain. Only ownership rights. They are different. 2. No grounds to challenge their trademark application. 3. No grounds to file your own...

advice My friends and I have a site that sells domains, but having trouble finding willing people.

Most domainers have a lot of domains. It is time consuming to price/list them. I wouldn’t bother with any new site unless i saw some tangible reason to list there. It’s free to do that at a lot of places but I don’t bother with the vast majority. GD/Afternic, efty, sedo ... plenty of partners...

I have a suggestion for Epik. I'd like to see registry lock feature. Verisign apparently makes this available, yet practically no registrar offers it as a reasonable add-on.

OP could have just registered one name. I suspect the other 99 would have remained available for hand registrations if ever wanted. I'm going to guess OP is early to the game, but very ambitious. Not necessarily bad. Who of us hasn't paid some learning money?

GoDaddy domain stolen

I purchased a BIN on NetSol earlier this year for about $3K. I found later, it was an Afternic listing. The domain fast-transferred to my account at NetSol about 2 days after purchase. I had full control of domain for about 1 month. Domain was the PRIMARY OPERATING DOMAIN FOR A MULTI-BILLION...

Ebates.com rebrands at Rakuten.com. Thoughts?

Just my opinion, Ebates was far more memorable. And Rakuten.com just doesn't roll off the tongue like ebates. The company is still running TV commercials for Ebates too... Maybe I am missing something. Not a fan of this rebrand. Not quite a brand new story, but didn't see it discussed.
